David Risbridger is an experienced freelance arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator specialising in complex disputes within the construction and infrastructure industry. Formerly a partner and Head of Dispute Resolution for the Middle East at Simmons & Simmons, he works with clients across the public and private sectors.

 

During a legal career spanning thirty years, he has worked internationally on building and civil engineering programs, with a particular focus on public-private partnership projects within the energy, transport and petrochemical sectors.

A trained quantity surveyor before joining the legal profession, he specialises in complex disputes, advising on issues related to the procurement of major projects. He also sits as an arbitrator internationally and has extensive experience in mediation and ADR, including arbitration for the ICC.
